Bicycles, Special Needs
Unlike special needs tricycles, these Bicycles are more like typical bicycles, but for special needs children.
These special needs bicycles are uniquely designed for therapeutic progression. These allow parents, caregivers, and therapists a safe and easy way to decrease the amount of support the training wheels offer the child while still providing a stable base as the child works to increase his or her balance.
These special needs bicycles look like traditional bicycles, so children with special needs can enjoy the experience of riding just like other kids. The overall goal is to maximize functional, independent riding abilities in all children with physical disabilities. What better way to achieve improved strength, endurance, and socialization with peers then to give children with special needs a way to join their siblings and friends for a bike ride.
