Comet & Star Gait Trainers
 The Comet and Star Gait Trainers are recommended for children and adults with special needs that have increased muscle tone in the lower body and require ankle prompts to prevent scissoring.
The Comet Gait Trainer is an anterior walker for children that have decreased trunk control and walk best with the padded optional trunk support in the front. It allows the child to lean forward into the gait trainer to aid in mobility. The Star Gait Trainer is a posterior or reverse gait trainer that provides trunk support in the rear of the child when walking. The reverse (posterior) gait trainer has been found to be most effective for children who tend to lean too far forward and need rear support to maintain an upright standing position.
These Wenzelite gait trainers are made of durable materials that are latex-free. The Comet and Star gait trainers are easily height adjustable and come standard with support features to accommodate children and adults in schools and therapy of varying heights and levels of physical disabilities. Optional support accessories are available separately to increase stability for children with poor trunk control or need the arms supported to maintain a more upright standing posture.
